The moment you set foot into Underwood Dental Care, you will instantly feel that you are in a place you can trust. You will be greeted by a friendly face and a warm welcome.

Our patient lounge has been created to provide you with a space to relax while waiting for your appointment. We also have plenty of toys for your children to play with to keep them entertained.

With three fully operational surgeries within the Underwood Dental Care practice, we can ensure that your appointments are met on time and you receive dental care in the privacy of a state of the art room. Our rooms are fitted with modern and up to date dental chairs to provide you optimal comfort and enjoyment during your visit.

During your appointment, you will find that we strive to enhance your experience by utilising modern techniques and technology in delivering dental care. All of our chairs are fitted with Sirona intra-oral cameras. The live images will be displayed up on an LCD screen above the dental chair where you can see first-hand any cracks, decay, fillings and gum disease you may have. This will help you to understand your mouth a lot better and take action to make things healthy again. It’s one thing to hear it from your dentist but another to see it for yourself.

You will be delighted to find 80cm wide-screen digital LCD screens available in all three treatment rooms where screens are positioned on the ceiling above you in the dental chair to entertain you during your visit. Having something to focus your attention on will make your appointment seem so much quicker. You can choose to watch what you fancy from our DVD collection: be it cartoons, documentaries or music videos – we will probably have it available!

Digital X-ray’s reduces your radiation doses. It provides us with quick and accurate radiographic images which will aid in the diagnosis of any bone and gum diseases, decay, cracks and infection. All images and medical records  are computerised for your security.

Once your appointment with your dentist at Underwood Dental Care has finished, feel free to use our powder room to check your appearance, reapply makeup, brush your teeth or simply flash your new bright smile before leaving our practice.
